Since most enthusiast forums have died out these days, most of the best project car builds you see are on YouTube. Not only is YouTube an outstanding format for project builds since you can choose to just post pictures and text (like on a forum) or you can go all out. Builders can show time lapse builds, they can choose to just type text, record voice overs or being on camera. Although not as cheap as forums, project car builds on YouTube still have a small barrier of entry but the end product is way more immersive.

One of my favorite current YouTube builds is user Ronald Finger, who is bringing a 1985 Fiero back to life after it has been sitting for 20 years.
